How much does skip hire cost in Alford?
Our 2 yard mini skip is £130, the 4 yard mini skip is £180, a 5 yard skip is £200 and a 6 yard skip is £230. Ton sacks are £45, green waste skip bags £55, and 1100 litre bins are £50 for green waste or £70 for general waste.
Which areas do you cover?
We deliver and collect within about 15 miles of our yard in Alford, Lincolnshire. That includes Mablethorpe, Sutton on Sea, Skegness, Louth, Spilsby, Horncastle and the villages in between. If you're not sure, give us a call.
How long can I keep a skip?
Our skips are on a 7 day hire. We also offer a wait and load service if you'd rather fill it in one go.
What is wait and load?
We bring the skip, wait while you load it, then take it straight away. It's handy when you can't leave a skip on site, or you've got everything ready to go.
Can I put soil or hardcore in a skip?
Hardcore and soil can't go in our 5 and 6 yard skips. If you've got heavy waste like rubble or soil, call us and we'll point you to the right option.
What can't go in a skip?
Electrical appliances, tyres, upholstered seating, asbestos, harmful chemicals, fluorescent tubes, medical waste, batteries, filled paint tins, oil, petrol or diesel, gas cylinders, animal waste, fridges, freezers and mattresses.
Do you hire to businesses?
Yes. Our skips, skip bags and 1100 litre bins are available to hire for commercial or personal use.
Do I need a permit for a skip?
If the skip is going on your own driveway or land, you normally don't. If it needs to go on a public road or pavement, a skip permit is usually needed from the council. Let us know when you book and we'll talk it through.
